The amazing and sacre depiction of the youthful god Mithras; his curly hair emerging from beneath his Phrygian cap, with characteristic top-knop. The cult of Mithras began to spread in the Roman territories since 1st century BC, it was imported from the East and was purely widespread among the military. From 3rd century AD became an instrument of political propaganda of the emperors and began to merge with the cult of Sol Invictus.
