The limestone fragmentary inscription was discovered among the roof-tile debris accumulated along the northernmost stone foundation, close to the northern bench of the mithraeum.

Too little is preserved from this small inscribed fragment to allow a meaningful identification of the text. It is worth noting, though, that this inscription is carved of a different limestone than the others, but one which is otherwise common among the inscribed monuments in Apulum.1
